New Archive of 30 Years' Classic Sci-Fi Available For Free

Archive.org recently added a gigantic collection of the influential science fiction magazine Galaxy Science Fiction to its site that is free for anyone to read, worldwide. While it's not a complete collection of the magazine's run, there are many pieces of sci-fi history in the collection. Get the details after the jump.

The Galaxy Science Fiction collection covers 26 years. That's 350 issues! Especially interesting for classic sci-fi fans are an issue that has a Ray Bradbury story The Fireman that was later expanded into the influential novel Fahrenheit 451, as well as the serialized forms of classic stories like an influential precursor to cyberpunk by Alfred Bester titled The Stars My Destination, and Isaac Asimov’s groundbreaking sci-fi detective story The Caves of Steel.
